Was anyone else really distracted during the finale by that thing on Logan's forehead...?

'Cuz I was! Every time they showed him that thing (what is it? A mole? A really long-lasting zit?) was practically the only thing I saw! It's something he's always had, but all of a sudden in the last episode it was fucking huge and fucking noticable!

Photo #2 is from episode 2x22, Not Pictured. IT'S PRACTICALLY TAKING UP HIS ENTIRE FOREHEAD!

What is it? Any guesses?

He's always had it. It's an unpigmented mole. I had the same question last year and that's what someone else told me.
