weirdqafanVeronica Mars episode 2x18, I Am G-d, and I was thinking when Veronica was talking to Peter in her dream about 'the outting of all outtings'. I think I might have figured out who he was referring to.
Could he have been talking about um...that dude who fled Neptune in the last episode that was about to be arrested by Lamb?
Given that we know Woody Goodman is scum and a child molester (yeah like we didn't see that coming after he hit on Logan) and that Peter (and Marcos) was molested by him when they were little, it bares some thought that Peter was talking about outting Woody. It makes sense. Though Woody wasn't the mayor of Neptune at the time, he was still a rather prominent businessman and married with children and wealthy and well-known. Therefore, the boys coming forward about what Woody did to them, outting Woody and his 'habits' could explain that plot point, especially taking into account the audio recording of the boys discussing telling what Woody did. And it adds to the whole Woody blew up the bus theory.
And to answer Peter's question as to why we was on the trip, why he would want to go to a baseball stadium: so he, Marcos (and most likely Cassidy, 'cuz yeah, I figure like most that he's the third person on that recording) could put the screws to Woody about admitting what he did to them
Though I'm not entire convinced that he did. Yeah all the evidence points to him, but I still wouldn't have put it passed Aaron to have some involvement, and considering we don't know quite how Curly fit into the whole scenario (especially since he said that he did know who blew up the bus while Weevil was kicking his ass). And given this show's history, I'm fully expecting us not to find out who the real bomber is until maybe the last 10 or 15 minutes of Tuesday's episode. And it might be who we least expect.
Here's who I'm personally eliminating as suspects and would be quite shocked if it turned out to be one of them (and yes I'm even putting people who basically couldn't possibly have done it):
Veronica
Logan
Keith
Wallace
Weevil
Alicia
Mac
Meg
Corny
Leo
Gia
Jackie
Cassidy (I know there's spec about him, but I don't think he could have & I'll be disappointed if he did)
Anyone else in Neptune, I could find it feasible they did it.
But in short, I can't wait for Tuesday!
