While I've been sick, I've raided the Roomie DVD collection (she's got a shit load that I'd never actually seen before) and while watching one for the first time, I've discovered a new obsession fandom.

Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the gayest movies I have ever seen.

On top of that, it's also brilliant and really good and there's sooo much homoerotic subtext between Will & Jack that I was amazed they didn't just rip their clothes off and fuck. Or maybe I was just hoping that would happen. Hmmm...

Also how did I miss that Orlando Bloom is hot? Granted, I've never seen any of his movies before, but still. Damn hot! And of course Johnny Depp is always gorgeous. And together?

And there's no way anyone can conivince me that while Will & Jack were alone, sailing the seas, on the Interceptor that they did not engage in any sort of homosexual activities.

I've also been gorging on Will/Jack slash. It's fun! Any recs anyone has, feel free to tell me!

ETA: Anyone else also notice that the two male characters have the same name as the two male characters in Will & Grace who have a sorta unrequited love thing going on? Will Turner/Jack Sparrow & Will Truman/Jack McFarland. Coincidence?

I've checked some of my ViggOrli authors who also wrote PotC - so far, I only found fic by lostiawen and haven't read it, however, I know from ViggOrli that Losti writes very good and kinky ;)

Yes well, I thought the same way about the movie. (Hence my fanfic Matelotage)
The first time I saw the movie I said Johnny Depp played Jack so perfectly. Jack fit into my little idea of him being in homosexual relationship. Plus Depp is just do damn gorgeous.

So I agree with you on this post. I can not wait to see the new movie in June, the trailer is drool worthy.

The two guys just had so much chemistry (more than I think Orlando Bloom had with Keira Knightley) that it's practically impossible to pick up on some subtext unless you purposely ignore things like that.

And personally, I can't seem to be able to get my mind past the part in the trailer where Will says something along the lines of "I won't leave without Jack!" I was all: 'See! They sooo have something going on together!' I'm looking forward to seeing it.
