Also, saw King Kong last night. Wow...what a disappointment! I could easily see where they could have cut at least 40 minutes out of it. And I soo wasn't buying the "love story"...any of the "love stories".

I went to see King Kong last Saturday and I didn't think it was that bad actually. But it was too long, that's true. They could 've easily skipped the first halfhour 'coz that was really boring *yawn*. The special effects were good though. A bit over-the-top sometimes ok, A LOT over-the-top, but that was what made it funny to me. It was sooo bad, that it was actually good. Does that make sense?!? But the movie is definitly something you have to go and watch in the theatre, 'coz at home on a tv-screen it 'll totally loose it's magic.

Having seen the original black and white King Kong I was very disappointed with this one. As far as I could tell the only differences were the actors and the special effects. And I find it completely impossible to take Jack Black seriously.
