I'm confused...

I just got an email telling me that my Extra Userpics will expire in 10 days, and that my account will revert to its standard features. But I thought that somewhat recently LJ added a feature of paid accounts that you now got 100 userpics with them. 'Cuz we all suddenly had the option of 100 pics.

Can someone explain this to me? Was I wrong? And if so, do I have to find a way to pay for extras again? And if I'm able to do that, how many pics will it give me? And if I was wrong, what was with that getting the 100 pics thing?

the same thing happened to me. i think it's because if you had purchased 50 user pics before, THAT went up to 100. If you don't renew it each year, you default back to 15.

Yeah, standard paid features give you 15 userpics instead of the 3 you get with a free account. The 100 pics thing comes in with the purchase of extra pictures--so basically you can purchase 100 pictures total (85 extra) now where before the same amount of money only gave you a total of 50. So just pay the extra couple of bucks if you want to keep 100 icons, or not if you're happy with 15. Of course, if your paid account is what's running out, then you'll need to renew that to get more than three. It's only a couple dollars extra for two months, and then it goes up a little for 6 or 12.
