Interesting tidbit for anyone who does NOT own the Queer as Folk Season 1 DVDs:

Showtime will drastically reduce the price of Queer as Folk season 1 on August 23. The price will be lowered from $119.98 to $49.99.

On th other hand, bitterness around for those of us who paid much more.
Those Showtime buttheads.

Seriously! I paid about $90 for Season 1, since I bought it waay after it came out and the price always goes up the longer it's out. Ugh!

Yay! I've been holding out for this! I'm hoping to be able to buy the whole series at a good price. Sex and the City, the series, is now selling for $189 at Costco. Hopefully Showtime won't disappoint me... did I really just say that?

Clearly this is the wrong post to be commenting on like this, but oh well! I just wanted to tell you that your journal entries made me laugh so fucking hard.
