Observations & Stuff....
Nov. 11th, 2004 03:21 amOk, was watching 220 (I don't know why~ I must be in a masochistic mood and I'm changing a few of my mood theme & need pics) and noticed something. The underwear that Justin's wearing when he climbs into bed with Brian after Ethan queens out, looks very much like his undies from episode 101? See visuals (also gives Tina excuse to show off her mad screencapping skillz):
Episode 101:

Episode 220:

The same undies from the beginning to the sorta end. I hope he washed them in between.

Also, while I was watching the episode, I noticed something I hadn't noticed. A quote from Brian:
"You know, if you want your comic book to be a succes, you should put your personal feelings aside and don't piss on your acheivement."
If you go rewatch that scene, you'll notice that he stresses the word piss. Was that the start of shoving Justin off the cliff, by reminding him what an asshole he was? Reminding him of what, up until that point was possibly one of the lowest points of their relationship?
Another part of this episode that's always really bugged me (besides itself in its entirety) is the reinactment of the bashing. Um...yeah, really brilliant. Make the boy watch what happened to him live and onstage, in surround sound. Very different from drawing it. Much more traumatizing.

Date: 11/11/04 03:48 am (UTC)The piss thing, I always thought it was some kind of self-critcism of Brian. Like telling Justin not to be as stupid as he was. Or something. *shrugs*

Date: 11/11/04 10:25 pm (UTC)And Michael ASKED Justin about doing it. Brian didn't ask Michael or Justin about anything concerning the party. He seemed to have it all completely planned when he told them about it. And I'm gonna have to assume that he organized that performance without asking Justin about it.
I don't know, that's just how I see it.
